Rather than focusing on the Mind alone, as do talk-therapies like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Somatic Therapy focuses on integrating mindfulness, body awareness, breath awareness and body-orientated tools to guide the client towards resolving maladaptive emotional and physiological patterns.

Vibrational Sound Resonance facilitates the body to shift into a healing state through the Law of Entrainment. This suggests that organisms synchronize their vibratory state and fluctuating brainwaves by attuning to a stable frequency. During wakefulness, humans are typically seen to be in active Beta brainwave pattern; however, during a Sound Resonance session these brainwaves Entrain into the more restful, meditative Delta, Theta and Alpha waves; states of optimized immune functioning and overall system repair and rejuvenation.

HeartMath® Institute’s 30 years of Heart—Brain research demonstrates that different patterns of heart activity (or measurements of Heart Rate Variability—HRV) have significant and measurable effects on your emotions, behaviors, physical health and quality of life. Learning and applying HeartMath® skills strengthens your somatic awareness to be able to notice and then positively change your HRV for optimized health and wellness. You will be guided back into emotional balance, increase levels of resilience and connect back to your inner wisdom and intuition finding new levels of clarity and ease with decision making. HeartMath® skills may be science-based, but they are powerfully meditative, simple and doable for all ages and stages.

The key principles of Osteopathy are based on the understanding that if one part of the body is restricted, then the rest of the body adapts and compensates for this. Ultimately, these maladaptive compensation patterns lead to inflammation, pain, stiffness, nervous system dysregulation and other health conditions. When adhesions and restrictions are freed through an Osteopathic treatment, the BodyMind will experience improved pain management, nervous system regulation, improved immune functioning and greater overall mobility allowing the innate intelligence of the body to heal itself.
A Manual Osteopathic Practitioner is trained in five main types of hands-on Osteopathic sub-disciplines:
Osteoarticular Adjustments, Advanced Myofascial Remodeling, Visceral Manipulation. Manual Lymphatic Drainage and, Craniosacral Therapy.
